Road Closure
Hello everyone and Seasons' Greetings. A lamp-post in leaning well over the road on Tarawera Terrace, St Heliers, so through traffic is now prohibited. The lamp- post is on one's left and about outside number 16 Tarawera Terrace if you are coming from Long Drive. The only traffic now allowed is if you live near by in Tarawera Terrace. Cars coming from Grampian Road are being re-directed. Sorry, I don't have any more details about the length of time this may be but hope this helps if you have plans to drive up Tarawera Terrace. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
