I am supporting a local charity that sells its goods mainly on Trademe, Trademe is getting harder to navigate these days as a buyer, and I know of many that are turning away from it, which I don't disagree with. However, this charity is still offering loads of second-hand affordable items, ranging from sports gear, furniture, computer gear, household items, antiques & collectibles, Music CDs, games, books, clothing, and much more, they seem to have it all. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
