She says the role has taught her to think on her feet and led to a huge … View moreChris has been a volunteer for Victim Support for 11 years, joining after the affects of crime touched her own family. Chris fits in a shift each week as a Volunteer Support Worker on top of family and a successful career. She says the role has taught her to think on her feet and led to a huge amount of personal growth.
"I have a huge amount of gratitude for my life. And every now and then you get little bits of feedback, and you know you have really helped someone. That feels really good,” says Chris. “It’s a privilege to be able to do this."
