Recently, Labour MP Kiritapu Allan shared her story as she typically carried on working while she awaited news of her tests. Kiri and many other women like her, prioritised her health above work and accessed services early. Though gutted at the results, Kiri is a fighter and is readying for a battle. Recovery is still hopeful. We thank her for advocating for women to be screened regularly and to seek help early when women detect something is out of the ordinary. Look after yourselves whanau.
