What you need to know:
- The product is called Large $20 Acacia Serving Tray and was sold nationally.
- The product may be infested with Lyctus africanus (also known as the African powderpost beetle), a species not present in New Zealand.
- Kmart are no longer selling these products and will wait for instruction from MPI before destroying these.
Anyone who finds a suspected exotic pest is encouraged to call MPI’s hotline on 0800 80 99 66.

Sale of the #DowntownCarparkBuilding was a decision by Eke Panuku Development Auckland, ratified by the Phil Goff led Auckland Council and then endorsed by the City Vision lead Waitematā Local Board.
This is an important amenity in the Civic Centre of Auckland where ALL ratepayers have a right to access, including those in Remuera.
There is a covenant attached to the sale to provide for bus parking and disabled parking that is NOT sufficient as we rely on this carpark for:
#Convenient - parking in the Viaduct, Commercial Bay, Queen St and Ferry Terminal
#Affordable - it is reasonably priced
#Safety - as it is under cover (for lone females, parents with children and seniors)
#CivicCentre - is open to ALL visitors, especially ratepayers
#Commuters - rely on this to access their work
#InterIslandCommuters - Waiheke and Barrier residents ‘town car’ parking
#FerryCommuters - North Shore, Gulf Harbour and other places car for CBD
#Residents - city apartments without parking (reasonably priced long-term parking)
#ParknRide - when this is the hub for trains, ferries and public transport
#Visitors - day trippers to Waiheke and Barrier
#Tradies, Sales and Service - link to other locations and carry stock or large items
Auckland doesn’t have a connected network of regular, reliable public transport yet, so until such time as we do, it is too soon to sell this Public Facility.

They deserve to be truly comfortable in a warm, dry home without stressing about their power bills, or their health.
They might be eligible for Warmer Kiwi Homes, a government grant offering 80% of the cost of ceiling and underfloor insulation, and up to 80% off an energy-efficient heater, like a heat pump.
And they may get it even cheaper than that - lots of community organisations offer extra funding to reduce the cost further.
Go to warmerkiwihomes.govt.nz to check their eligibility.
