We came across these newish treated pine sleepers from TrustWood Timbers. These sleepless are great for your vege planters and general planting as the treatment used is safe for all plants and does not leach into the soil. Unlike Mac sleepers they come with a 50 year guarantee so they will outlast the more traditional Mac sleepers. Very straight and diamentionaly correct so great to work with.
We have just completed this job in Parnell using these where we have swapped out the rotten Mac sleepers for new TrustWood Sleepers πŸ‘

We are still waiting on the frameless glass shower door which is on back order due it being a custom size but all in all a great result. Oh and happy new year to one and all. πŸ₯‚

Who's having issues with overflowing and block spouting?
I certainly am....or should I say was.
Our current place had a Klass Fascia with an internal gutter system and with all the heavy rain we are having, it would back up and overflow into the soffits and eventually flow into the house.
I've have just upgraded the system with "Marley Typhoon" gutter system. This system has a very large water capacity and the option of externally mounted brackets which make it really easy to clean out the leaves etc. It also comes in a few different colour schemes which is great.
We had the first real test last Thursday and it performed perfectly.
No more sleepless nights when it's raining πŸ‘

Latest Deckcreation

Nick Jenness from Nick The Builder

Howdy Neighbours

Here is our latest Deckcreation.
This deck has been extended off the existing concrete patio to maximize the afternoon sun.
Great use of an otherwise unused area we think and definitely a sun trap. πŸ‘

Due to the lack of depth our client decided to future proof the area and opt for a more durable solution with Milano Italiano pavers.
Super solid and now ready for outdoor entertaining. πŸ‘

Backyard transformation

Nick Jenness from Nick The Builder

Howdy Neighbours

Here is our latest little backyard gem.
The existing paving was a little bit tired so we removed them, cleaned them up, turned them upside down and relayed on a new compacted level surface. We also installed a Buschbeck Pizza oven which the clients had previously purchased.

Something different

Nick Jenness from Nick The Builder

Howdy Neighbours.

Here's something a little bit different. Our lovely clients had an existing cedar privacy screen at their front door and wanted to extend it by adding an additional panel. So we custom made them a new one too match.
We are not Joiners but it came out pretty good I reckon.
