The initial brief was to repair the built-in garden seats but it turned out that they had done their dash. Partly because the existing retaining wall behind giving way due to poor design and rot.
We installed larger diameter poles at closer centres which have been drilled and concreted into the ground as much as they are out of the ground. Super strong and good for another 50 years. ππ

The sub framing was is good nick so after adding some structural blocking to stiffen it up, we gave the deck a birthday with some beautiful 140mm Kwila decking.

Our lovely clients decided to add a feature wall to their lounge area. Consisting of a hardwood floating shelf surrounded by a two tone vertical batten on a black background. Looks pretty flash I reckon. π
