The Auckland Women's Centre is pleased to be running Understanding Money, a 2 hour workshop for women on Monday 18 November, 6.00pm – 8.00pm.
Understanding Money with Jean Strock is for women who have questions around money and how to make it work for you. From budgeting to revolving credit to understanding KiwiSaver, bring your questions, pen and paper and get ready to be inspired.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
