Building a New Life After Separation

The team from Auckland Women's Centre

Tutor - Danielle Turnbull

Surviving separation after a relationship can bring a range of emotions such as loss, anger, confusion and an invitation to build a new life. Over the course of 1 day, the group will be a learning and interactive environment where participants can learn from each other, and a sharing of practical skills on ways to rebuild your life. Part of rebuilding your life can include reclaiming your identity, setting boundaries, managing conflict, and/or exploring a new sense of self. (1 day)

Following on from the 1-day workshop, there is an opportunity to continue a weekly meet up for 4 weeks, if the will/women of the group choose so. This will run as a meet up group facilitated by Danielle, and there will be a cost associated separate to the cost of the workshop. If you are interested to attend, please indicate this when you enrol for the 1-day workshop, and details will be provided.

Danielle Turnbull is an accredited mediator and certified life coach, with a focus on women’s empowerment coaching. Danielle has co-facilitated this workshop, and is a past participant, bringing with her a lens of her own experience and personal empowerment tips. She believes every woman has the inner strength to navigate this new territory to building a new life after separation.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

I offer one-off mows as well as regular weekly or fortnightly service. Every visit includes mowing, trimming and a clean blow-off.

Clear, upfront pricing based on lawn size — no surprise charges.

If you’d like a quote, feel free to message me here or send through a couple of photos and your address. I’m also happy to pop by and quote in person.
