Learn to play croquet on 12th November!
Hi neighbours, we are hosting a FREE OPEN DAY for the whole family at the Epsom Remuera Croquet Club! There will be fun games with prizes, raffles, demonstrations, sausage sizzle and refreshments. Wear flat soled shoes and a smile. Said to be like snooker on grass, Croquet is able to be played by anyone from 9 to 90 years.
Golf Croquet is a fast, easy new version of croquet with its own challenges. The pace is relaxed, the tone is social and the accent is on serious fun.
For the first time we'll be introducing Gateball. Gateball is a team game with up to five in each team. It's hugely popular in Japan, China and other eastern countries, with its own World Championships. Games take 30 minutes so are not too demanding.
Come along and try your hand at hitting a ball through a hoop. You've no idea how much fun that can be.
When: Sunday 12th November 9.30am - 3.30pm
Where: 259 Gillies Avenue, Epsom
We look forward to seeing you there!

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
