Couch and Matching Recliner Chair

Bea from Silverstream

Chocolate brown three to four seater couch with fold out double bed complete with double mattress. The bed frame is metal. The recliner is similar to a lazy boy chair. Pictures make the recliner look faded due to the light coming in through the windows. Recliner and couch are definitely not faded

A challenge facing too many young men is the sense that they have to live up to the unspoken rules of masculinity – clichés such as “boys don’t cry” and “toughen up”.

White Ribbon encourages everyone to challenge the unspoken rules, so we can let boys and young men enjoy their individuality and define themselves as men who have respectful relationships with themselves and their partners – creating happier, healthier communities for us all.

Christmas Pressure is coming ....

Upper Hutt: Wider Community Connectivity

Somewhere recently, I noted a great suggestion ......
At this time of year .... Instead of filling our Noticeboards with "FREE STUFF" .....
Wrap, label (eg age / gender) and give to / place under the tree of your favourite charity for distribution to those who would appreciate / cherish

At this time of year .... Instead of filling our Noticeboards with "FREE STUFF" .....
Wrap, label (eg age / gender) and give to / place under the tree of your favourite charity for distribution to those who would appreciate / cherish
such a gift.
I know I will definitely be taking this approach this year, so would like to know what agencies within our community would like some support.
Please can we gather information to enable satisfactory results for all
using this Community Connection page.
Charities: Let us know what would be useful and give a drop off point.
Neighbours: Let us know what you have available so it can be directed to the appropriate destination.
"Waste not; want not."
Sure hope others feel similarly to self.

Once built, Omāroro Reservoir will make the city’s water supply much more resilient in case of a disaster or operational failure. Right now, we’re installing the large pipes that will connect the reservoir to the existing network.

This next stage involves closing Wallace Street, Mt Cook, to traffic for a few months. A diversion will be in place via Wright St, and Adelaide Road will be the main route into the city to and from the south.

Interested? You’re welcome to attend the community drop-in session on Sunday 17 November 11am – 2pm at Massey University Executive Suite, Gate A, Wallace St. See you there.
