F-bomb gin complaint against Good George lights fuse on sales instead
An attempt to crack down on a cheekily profanity labelled Hamilton gin by booze control campaigners appears to have backfired by pushing up sales.
Hamilton-based distillery Good George’s F...ery gin came under scrutiny after the Communities Against Alcohol Harm group alleged it breached socially responsible advertising standards.
However, the Advertising Standards Authority ruled it was more of a joke than offensive.

‘Simply irresponsible’: Wallaby likely kept as pet in Hamilton, regional council says
A wallaby spotted in Hamilton was probably kept as a pet, the regional council says - and that’s “simply irresponsible”.
The dama wallaby, which had an immature joey in its pouch, was spotted in Frankton on March 3, reported and killed, Waikato Regional Council says.
