Phew that was quick! All the things I had in the box went very quickly, with only one lonely lemon sitting at the kerbside now. Will put the empty box out again now (1.11pm) in the hope that people may have more donations to add. Thanks, and hope anyone who got their goods enjoy them. Saw a couple of people walking by stop this morning.

It's a system where one preferably leaves a book when taking a book. As with second hand shops please only leave something (in this case a book or recent magazine) that you think others could use. Both adult and children books. I can start it off by donating: Scarlett Epstein Hates it Here (teenage), Samoa and Tonga(Lonely Planet Guide), 13 Steps Down (Ruth Rendell), The Lovely Bones, Mister Pip, and Believe (words and inspirations of Desmond Tutu). Meanwhile, has anyone got any material donations to make such? eg paint (plain or coloured), wood or whatever. No great amounts required. Could be a project for a handyman. Was thinking of asking at The Mens Shed otherwise.

The work will take place in the Mangorewa Gorge, approximately 1–2km south of Te Matai Rd. The recommended detour route is via The Tauranga Eastern Link and State Highway 33 or the Te Puke Highway (a free route) and State Highway 33.
The closure is scheduled each night from Sunday 30 September to Friday 5 October 2018 for the hours of 8pm to 5am each night. The Friday 5 October closure is expected to end at 5am.
NZTA Bay of Plenty Transport System Manager, Rob Campbell, says this essential work will strengthen the road and provide a safe surface for all users in this windy and steep environment. He says the agency would like to thank people in advance for their patience. The work is weather dependent and may need to be moved to another date.

Dryer in good condition. The only minor issue is the timer doesn’t go down on the hotter side. To combat this we just switched it on and off at the wall when we were using it. Still goes great, selling as we have bought a new one.

Also available are varying biggish sizes of concrete edging blocks which had been sledgehammered. Maybe useful as underground fillers.
