We had a heavy duty stainless steel box made and given to us after last time. … View moreOnce again our plant stands honesty fundraising box has been broken into, this time they were serious and brought along a hacksaw and sawed through the padlock after they had no luck trying to leaver up the money slot. We had a heavy duty stainless steel box made and given to us after last time. This is the third time this year! They have gone round to the back of our building and worked on the box. Sad to think someone is so low to steal from a charity for about $10-$15. That would have brought our groups biscuits for few months.
September is Dementia Awareness month, during this month we hold our annual appeal.
This year it is on 20-23rd at various spots from Katikati - Te Puke.

This year it is on 20-23rd at various spots from Katikati - Te Puke.
These valuable funds raised help us to support those living in the community with Dementia and without these funds and our wonderful family of volunteers our services would look very different.
All money raised stays within this community to assist those living in our community.
