Please vote for our local finalist for the Yates budding Young Gardener

Tauranga 13 yr old Declan Lang, has been selected to represent the Bay of Plenty in a National Young Gardner Competition run by Yates.

It is now down to 8 representatives nationwide, one of which will win the 'Budding Young Gardener of the Year' . He will be given the opportunity to learn more about Horticulture and become the 'Yates brand Ambassador' for a year.

Declan has been involved in a local native tree planting project. Planting natives such as Rimu, Kauri, Totara & Nikau
