Day two of Plastic Free July - awesome if you’re joining in! 👏
You could make a big difference by swapping cling film for plastic free alternatives. Containers are great to store leftovers, and using a tea towel or beeswax wrap instead of cling film is pretty simple. You’ve got this! ⭐️… View moreDay two of Plastic Free July - awesome if you’re joining in! 👏

Welcome Bay residents are urged to conserve water for the next 24 hours.
We are working hard on fixing a complicated water mains break. This issue is reducing our ability to supply water into the Welcome Bay area and may be causing low pressure in Welcome Bay as well as Papamoa.
We are asking Welcome Bay residents to conserve water where possible for the next 24 hours, to ease pressure on supply in the area.

Upcycling is the term used for taking a preloved item and transforming it - whether it's for a new purpose altogether, or just to give it an ‘extreme makeover'. Consider using the school holidays to get Upcycling with the smaller members of your household - or use the next rainy day to drag out the paint and your creativity!
In the meantime, check out some of the creative cookies from last year.
