Looking for Interesting Stories
Hi there,
I’m a student Journalist from Whitireia, based in the Paremata-Mana area. Basically I’m looking for any stories that people have. Do you have a small, local business or perhaps you’ve just started up a new business? Do you have any pressing issues (such as in your neighbourhood) that you’d like to speak out about? Do you have an interesting story or some history that you’d like to share? Are you a local musician or artist or something else and want to get your story out there?
If any of this applies to you or there’s something else you’d like to speak about, please feel free to leave me a comment below or send me a private message.
Thanks,
Rosalie

I dance in the sky with green and gold, a spectacle few are lucky to behold; I’m best seen in the south, a celestial sight—what am I, lighting up the New Zealand night?

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
