It is a little bit of time just for you to explore Yoga and your re-connection to your body, mind and breath. The integration of these aspects of ourselves allows us to connect to our inner, deeper wisdom and to be peaceful in the world around us.
But this type of work when done on our own, takes effort, consistency and commitment. It is a great start to attend a regular class, where the group’s energy and dynamics can support and motivate your own personal practice. We invite you to join us on this journey!
In our classes, we will work though the foundation postures (asana) and simple breathing practices (pranayama) plus some basic philosophy to help get a feel for what Yoga is all about. There is a big emphasis on how to work with your particular body, rather than you trying to fit into a particular postural shape. You don't need to be flexible, coordinated or strong, these are some of the great benefits of practicing, not prerequisites. Our goal as facilitators is to support you in being able to remember the principles of the class off the mat and begin to apply them to everyday life.
When: Mondays, 6:30pm - 7:30pm
Where: The Art of Living Centre, 93 Lansford Cres, Avondale
Cost: Casual Classes: $10 & 10x Class Pass: $90

Where abouts are the worst spots for people parking in disabled carparks without a permit? I'm trying to have a look at some spots to see how bad it is.
