Sweeping footpaths is not part of the regular maintenance work of Marlborough Roads, unless there is a safety risk caused by debris. So we need your help to keep the footpath outside your home clear of leaves.

Street flooding can be prevented by removing rubbish or sweeping leaves from roadside drains. You can also help by checking your drains when heavy rain is forecast.

An extra security camera at Bluegums Landfill could catch Blenheim's arsonist, or at least deter dangerous behaviour in the dry, rural area.
Do you think this is enough?

After several years of suspicious fires at the Wither Hills and Taylor River Reserve, the Marlborough District Council has approved the purchase of a new camera for the landfill, which is near both parks.

Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) principal rural fire officer John Foley said if a fire started near the landfill, on the edge of the Wither Hills, it could quickly threaten nearby homes. Read more here
