Burials costs will double at most cemeteries in Marlborough in bid to shave down rates by 0.2 per cent, or about $5.30 per ratepayer per year. The increase will also make maintaining rural cemeteries more fair, the council says. Do you support the increase?

A new playground at Mark Smith Reserve, on the Boulevard Park on Taylor subdivision, is expected to be open by late June.
Construction of the new Renwick Domain playground is also progressing too, and expected to be opened by mid-June.

The ceramic cast cylinder of the fire chamber retains heat like a kiln so you can enjoy consistent warmth, large heat storage and the ultimate convenience of having to reload the fire less.
Can you imagine? Loading your fire up at night and waking up warm with your new Pyro that has provided an overnight burn to take off the chill of the cooler winter mornings. Available in over 200 colour options and with a 10mm thick steel top plate that also provides an excellent additional cooking surface.
