Heavy rain and blocked stormwater drains = surface flooding 🌧🍂

So moving into autumn which typically brings heavy rain, alongside leaves falling and blocking drains, means our crews will be busy responding to flooding events - much like they were at the end of March.

You can help to reduce the amount of flooding by giving the drains in your street or on your property a sweep every now and then.

Easter weekend is looking a bit wet, so while you’re at home during this lockdown, why not get out and clear leaves and rubbish from on and around stormwater sumps?

Is this really true maybe but I hope that the government is taking some action to help our essential front line workers by providing the necessary PPE's that are available to all workers who work within the aged care community.
We should be concerned about this talk to your local PM, District Health Board and get these supplies out to the front line workers so that they don't become a statistic and become infected with the Corona 19 virus
