🏍️ The Dave Moss Suspension Ride. Join Dave for a ride, during which he will progressively adjust your motorbike settings: 9am–2pm, Tuesday 28 February ($175 per bike).
Spaces for these events are strictly limited, so booking is essential.

Last year, Jane Horne and partner Simon Bartholomew's Mondrian-inspired cube took the title of Resene Shed of the Year. Now, we're on the hunt for this years winner! Send us photos and the stories behind your man caves, she sheds, clever storage spaces, cute chicken coops and potty potting sheds to win amazing prizes worth more than $2000. Repairs come in all shapes and sizes from sewing and mending to electrical items and IT troubleshooting – the repair cafe's talented crew of volunteers will do their best to help repair your items. At the initiative's last event in November, more than 70 Kāpiti locals brought in 152 items to be fixed. That's a lot of well-loved possessions given a new life and saved from landfill!

It's been heartening to see Aotearoa New Zealand rally around the communities most impacted by Cyclone Gabrielle – and our people here on the Kāpiti Coast are no exception.
Since the disaster is so far from our region and many communities are experiencing roading issues and isolation, the official advice is that physical supplies are not recommended at this point.
