It has recently taken to hiding and sleeping in … View moreA very fluffy grey, white and cream cat has been visiting our property at 154 Gorge Road for the past couple of months. It is quite shy and makes no attempt to approach us or enter the house but we do think it has been a pet and not a random stray. It has recently taken to hiding and sleeping in our shed, which is a worry if we were to be away for a couple of days. When we saw it yesterday, it was limping, so now concerned for its welfare.
Please let us know if it could be yours or belong to someone close by. Or even to somebody who has moved away.

We had conversations with over 300 people about sediment in our streams, riparian planting, wetlands, pest plants, pest animals and native planting.
Kids got to play with our catchment model to learn about sediment, streams, gullies and wetlands. We did trapping demonstrations and swapped weeds from gardens with gorgeous native plants! 🌱
This Saturday, 14 November, @ the Waikanae Beach Community Hall @ 1.30pm the 4 candidates for the Waikanae Community Board will be speaking.
You'll have a chance to ask them questions. You can hear what they have to say.
I will be there and I will be speaking too!
