These seedlings have grown massively since the weather has warmed up (mostly). Strong healthy plants ready to go into the ground NOW. A few varieties have sold out but there's still plenty to choose from - a good range of colours and fruit size, from cherries to super-size and plenty in between. We'll be at the Waikanae market tomorrow morning and Otaki on Sunday so long as the weather is not bucketing down. We can survive a few drops!
Coming up from next week, we will have the first of our capsicums (green, red, yellow and purple), chillies (from medium heat to mindblowing!), several different Zucchini, (including our favourite Italian varieties) pumpkin, butternut and scallopini.

While there’s plenty of anecdotal evidence of current and emerging housing and social needs in Kāpiti, we need a stronger information base to support future discussions with Government and help Council, iwi and others to respond.
The survey is part of a wider needs assessment to determine housing and social requirements, examine their nature and causes, and set priorities for future action. While Council is leading this important mahi, in partnership with iwi, the assessment will be a resource for the entire community as we work collaboratively to address the housing stress in Kāpiti.
Take the anoymous survey and learn more on the link below OR pick up a copy from your local library or Council service centre.
Survey closes 5pm Friday 10 December 2021.
