Seniors morning tea and fun
If you’re a senior who would like to spend a morning with others in your age group we will welcome you at the Homestead Selwyn Centre, 21 Young's Road, Papakura. We have vacancies on Wednesday and Friday mornings, 9.30 - 12, for light exercise, home made morning tea and activities. We require everyone to have at least 3 Covid shots and to wear a mask when not eating and drinking. We are putting extra space between people and monitoring our air quality for the safety of all those present. If you would like to know more or need transport assistance, phone the Coordinator on 09 297 2252.
Leisure Time POP
we spent Friday night camped at Bobs Leisure Time POP near Glenbrook, grandson loved especially when the train went past all lit up - just watch out for your ears when the engine whistle blows 🙂

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
