The Ōtaki Gorge Rd has been closed at the area known as Blue Bluff (12km from SH1) since September 2020 after the road slumped towards the river following heavy rain. The road has continued to deteriorate since and is closed to both vehicles and walkers for safety reasons.
The road provides access to a number of tramping tracks in the Tararuas, including the Tararuas.

New backing camera Pioneer stereo with speakers in cab and living area Satellite TV New roof skylight (professionally fitted) Gas hob and oven Pantry Overhead extractor fan Excellent heating system Fridge Cupboard/draw locks so they don’t come open during transit. Tinted windows Curtains Flamma awning Pull out clothes drying rack. Large boot Re upholstered seat on passenger side front Seat belts in the front two seats only Toilet/shower cubical **Accessories, food, etc not included unless listed above.

Work that needs doing: Plate on step needs replacing due to rust – structurally sound framing around this and still usable. We have had an estimate from a panel and paint shop of $1700 do have this repaired

Cracking and distortion on some panels (old before we bought it) as seen in photos. No sign of moisture or further cracking etc

We had a double mattress across the back, still leaving space for 2 people to be sitting at the back at any one time. We are not selling the mattress with the Rosa, but you could easily find a free one to use if you wanted. When using a double mattress, you remove the table, and you would need to put a support between the seats to support it. You can also have two single beds on either side of the table, if you preferred.

We purchased this just after lockdown 2020, from someone who had owner her for 13 years and were looking forward to many trips around NZ. I have a chronic arthritic condition and have found that my mobility has worsened too quickly to be able to continue using her, so sadly we have to sell. We have had a couple of trips away and have loved every moment. She is super comfortable and my husband has really enjoyed driving her.

Hi Kāpiti,

How are you commemorating Anzac Day? What stories have been passed down through your whānau?

April 25 marks the 106-year anniversary of the Gallipoli landings, one of the most costly campaigns for the Allied Forces during World War I.

Anzac dawn and commemorative services up and down the country are scheduled to get underway after widespread cancellations last year, due to the nation being under Alert Level 4 restrictions.

The NZDF have advised of a reduced presence of military personnel at Anzac services due to deployment at MIQ facilities.

You can check out where the Anzac day services are on this interactive map on the RSA website.

Feel free and share your stories below and don't forget to type NFP if you don't want your comments used in the Kāpiti Observer.

"I was an unplanned pregnancy and brought to the SPCA to find a home.
I may look like a typical wild rabbit, but I can assure you I am not. My Mum was a domestic rabbit and super sweet. I am good with people I know, and am still young and still learning. I have an inquisitive nature and would love a home with people who will have me around them, either as a solely indoor rabbit, or mostly indoors. I will need a large outdoor area with a weatherproof hutch or shelter for days when the weather is nice. I will need to be inside as part of the family at night, so a hutch or area inside with you is important. I would also like a female rabbit for company, so if you have a lonely rabbit maybe we could be friends?
