Would like to ask the community how they would feel about making the eels in the Huatoki Stream near the Huatoki Plaza 'protected'? The eels are a great attraction to the community and am appalled at their recent demise of being stomped on. I also had a thought of having a small barrier across the stream from the steps leading down to the river along to the bridge. The community would still be able to feed them however the barrier would be more of a deterrent to those wanting to harm them. Would be interested in your thoughts please.
