Explore the waters of Ngamotu Beach reef with an experienced snorkel guide; you never know what you might spot? Learn about our native marine biodiversity - what belongs and what doesn't! Fun for the whole whānau. Pre-register via Eventfinda website. Bring your own gear* or get free hire of our mask, snorkel, fins and wetsuits. To protect our community this event will be run according to the COVID traffic light system. A vaccination pass will be required for everybody over 12yrs wishing to attend. Donations/koha welcome.

*Full face unicorn-style snorkels not accepted, gear will be checked over by staff for safety

COVID19 SAFETY

We can't wait to reconnect with you all and to help you explore our big blue backyard. We have always strived to be as inclusive as possible with all our events, however we are in unprecedented times, which means the safety of our crew, volunteers and participants is paramount.

- Vaccination certificates for all those ages 12 and over will be required for all* public events in the COVID Traffic Light Framework for the summer of 2021/22 (*unless specified otherwise).

- Participants under 12 years of age will need to be accompanied by a fully vaccinated parent or guardian.

- All participants will need to use face coverings and distance where practical.

- Please bring the QR code for My Vaccine Pass on your phone or printed to be scanned & verified at the event. You will need to bring photo ID. Some events may require your vaccination status to be verified prior to registration.

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
