Love Ironing?
Know anyone who LOVES ironing? Volunteers needed to do "at-home" ironing. We are busy at the Curtain Bank sewing new curtains for winter. And need help with new volunteers to press side seams and hems. Each piece size is approx 210cm x 210cm. We're hoping to find people who love ironing (maybe in front of the TV at home?) Poll: Should we be giving the green light to new mining projects? 💰🌲
The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
We want to know: Should mining projects like this move ahead?

Old woodern chair
Hi does anyone have any old (can be broken) woodern chairs with the spindle back. Or does anyone have any spindles lying around please they would like to get rid of. Many thanks
