Volunteers needed to do "at-home" ironing. We are busy at the Curtain Bank sewing new curtains for winter. And need help with new volunteers to press side seams and hems. Each piece size is approx 210cm x 210cm. We're hoping to find people who love ironing (maybe in front of the TV at home?) Must be able to collect from us and bring them back once it's completed. We need people to help us at our Onekawa workshop. You do not need to sew to volunteer. No roster, no commitment, just come when you can. Sorting donations, measuring curtains, all sorts of non-sewing roles available for those who can stand for about 2-3hrs with a nice chatty tea break at 1030am.
