Our crew got stuck in straight away, planting a total of 810 plants along the western end of Petone Beach.
These plants help to protect the dunes from storm surge damage and rising sea levels, reduce the amount of sand blown onto properties along the beachfront, and restore the native biodiversity.
After planting, they are protected with netting so the pesky rabbits don’t get a hold of them – giving them a chance to grow.

Buying an occupation licence in a retirement village can
be confusing and complex. At ARL we are experienced
in dealing with all villages in the Wellington region. If you
are thinking about entering a retirement village or you
have a family member that is considering this move, we
are holding a free seminar to explain how retirement
village occupation licences work.
Afternoon tea of cakes and sandwiches will be served following the presentation.
RSVP essential - Cheers!
