If you want to see an entertaining marching band of 120 students from Japan then pop over to Dowse Square at noon on 22 March to see the Narashino High School Symphonic Band. This top class band will bring new and known songs in its unique marching and rhythmic style. Tell your friends.

The band is also staging a free concert at the Wellington Michael Fowler Centre on Friday 24 March from 7 pm. Call 04 4727807 - the Japan Information and Cultural Centre for tickets.
