The main reason for this is an overwhelming feeling of dissatisfaction and a disconnect caused by a lack of intimacy.
Rather than saying, “That will never happen to us”, be proactive and take the steps to avoid finding yourself in a sexless marriage.
Doing so is really quite easy and will avoid unnecessary problems down the line.
All areas of a marriage require attention and it is up to you and your spouse to provide that attention.

Two amazing Wellington artists have come together to present a feast of art for all to enjoy. Jacky Pearson and Rachel Walker are exhibiting an amazing collection of recent watercolour paintings until Sunday 25th November. The exhibition is open 10am - 5pm Tuesday to Sunday.

What really impresses me is that it has been set up to help ex-prisoners from Arohata assimilate back into the community by getting them working. It is a wonderful initiative and really well done.
I am writing this because they deserve to be patronised. Please note I don't think they are open in the weekend, definitely not on Sunday, not sure about Saturday. Pay them a visit and see for yourself.

Self-trust means that you can take care of your needs and safety. It means you trust yourself to survive situations and practice kindness, not perfection. It means you refuse to give up on yourself.
In The Courage to Trust lists other components that encompass self-trust. They include: being aware of your thoughts and feelings and expressing them; following your personal standards and ethical code; knowing when you need to care for yourself first; knowing you can survive mistakes, get up and try again; and pursuing what you want without stopping or limiting others.
If you don’t do these things, you’re not alone. None of us was taught to trust as children. Instead, we were taught to be dependent. Maybe you had parents, family, friends or mentors who modelled trust and gave you positive messages about yourself.
Maybe you didn’t. But whether you had this or not, you can learn to trust yourself. Trust as a skill all of us can learn.
