The Death of Slim Shady is a MASTERPIECE

The Death Of Slim Shady

Everybody has a favorite album, mine WAS ‘Together Alone’ by ‘Crowded House’, an album that showcased the best of what Crowded House was about. Recorded in New Zealand it was the album that inspired me the most. Neil Finn has been my # 1 artist since 1996 but Eminem with this project has become # 1 … but also personally Marshall is a role model.

Eminem decided to bring Slim Shady back & challenge people to actually listen to an ALBUM that paints a clear picture that Marshall is always at war with Slim so we can get the best of Eminem.

From the first track ‘Renaissance’ Slim Shady has awakened in 2024 & he thinks Marshall has turned into a wimp.

The concept of this ALBUM is executed spectacularly & there is a reason why names are repeated a lot & the shock value part of the ‘Slim Shady’ character is there to execute the wordplay which is Eminem’s most powerful weapon.
It really is an intelligent mirror being held up to society & that is the purpose of ‘Slim Shady’.

The media has not shown one single achievement from the album (It knocked Taylor Swift off the top of the Billboard chart & had it been the other way around we would have had a week of news about it).

#1 Most Streamed Album on Apple
#1 Most Streamed Album on Spotify
#1 Overall Streaming
#1 Most Plays for a Hip Hop Album 2024
Etc …

The critics decided to review based on the lyrics only 6 mins after release & after hours of listening front to back more than 30 times so far there is no way you can even listen three times to feel this release. Double entendres, homophones & every other skill in the English language are put to expert use.
The Ad Libs are essential to the story & there are just so many words that it is so fun to repeatedly listen & catch something brand new every listen.
The story is well crafted & Slim & Marshall are excellent characters that make this more like a cinematic experience than an album.

After ‘Guilty Conscience 2’ we get a few more superb tracks from talented features,Eminem & Marshall that really play out like an end credits sequence.

The final song ‘Somebody Save Me’ ends with the chorus being slightly muffled as someone is being lowered into the grave … but who ?

Marshall is a genius, excellent Father, supports the youth of Detroit & always puts the next generation of expert level rappers on records, doesn’t go out much, treats the studio like a 9 to 5 (literally) & is 16 years sober …

He didn’t say it ‘Slim Shady told him to do it’ 😂😂😂

This album is a MASTERPIECE & it’s what happens when an artist writes for only the fans, themselves & not the critics.
