The North Waikato Motorsport Park & Event Centre underwent a $30m upgrade in 2016 under the new ownership of Tony Quinn and has cemented its place as one of the best motorsport facilities in the southern hemisphere.
Activities include the now-famous Hampton Downs Go-Karts, the on-track Muscle Car U-Drive experiences and Hot Lap offerings. You will also find a café, boasting a unique roasting and coffee drinking experience. There is also a Free electric car charging facility.
Hampton Downs hosts a number of major motorsport events annually, attracting 1000s of racing fans to the circuit and is a world-class corporate event and conference venue.
Hampton Downs Motorsport Park boasts 3 different track configurations along with 2 skidpans areas, one for driver training, the other for drifting as well as an SUV course and go-kart track with 2 track configurations.
To complement the on-track facilities, the 450ha developments also includes an industrial park, motor lodge, lifestyle blocks, 80 trackside apartments and convention centre.
