Youth leaders meet Governor General Dame Cindy Kiro
We were honoured that Governor General Dame Cindy Kiro and her husband Dr Richard Davies requested to have dinner with youth leaders from our District including members of our Youth Advisory Group.
Her Excellency was born in Te Tai Tokerau Northland and her whakapapa includes Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Hine and Ngāti Kahu.
Her Excellency is passionate about raising the profile of young people and her dinner guests included youth advocates, artists, volunteers, designers, and young community leaders from around our District.
