What are you doing to prepare for Cyclone Gabrielle?

Here are a few things we're doing:
🕳 Every available "sucker truck" is out clearing drains, culverts and gulleys, with priority on high-risk areas
🏠 Working directly with some residents who have been recently affected by flooding
⏱ Arranged for 24-hour availability of contractors
🚧 We're pre-emptively closing Kaka Street in Morningside
📍 Set up a working space with Civil Defence Northland, ready to open as an emergency operations centre
🌧 Monitoring the forecasts, tide charts and other information so we know what to expect
