At Alert Level 2 gatherings are limited to 100 people both indoors and outdoors, schools can reopen, and hospitality venues can operate with extra safety measure. Mask wearing and physical distancing is strongly encouraged.

No community cases of Covid-19 have been detected in Northland for over a week. Last weekend’s Super Saturday vaccination drive saw over 5000 people receive a dose in the region.
