It doesn't just benefit your muscles and joints but release a number of hormones and chemicals: Endorphins.. The Pain killer, triggered with laughter, dancing, among other things :Serotonin.. The mood Stabiliser, triggered by deep breathing, cardio and sun exposure :Dopamine... The reward/motivation chemical, triggered with exercise, listening to music, finishing a task. :Oxytocin... The love/contentment Hormone, triggered with helping others, holding hands... To mention a few..
You can call many things movement therapy, walking, chair exercises, gym classes etc.. Its finding one that fits and works for you that you enjoy and will keep doing it.
Zumba combines a number of elements that trigger at least 3 of these hormones, music and dancing, that has you leaving class with a smile.. You may feel your not a dancer or not coordinated, but to do Zumba this is not important.. If you give it a try, you won't regret it and you may just find that workout/fun class that helps you move and feel good. 😊
There are a number of classes available in Hastings and Napier... If you go on to Zumba.Com and type in your area it will bring up instructors and classes available for you..
We are Zumba with Mamacita and Shay and have classes on Tuesday and Friday nights from 6pm in Hastings at the Harriers Club Hall on Sylvan Road, Parkvale.
Our hope is you'll give it a go with one of the awesome instructors we have in Hawkes Bay and get your dose of feel good and have a happy hour 💜

We think it was a Dux, plastic seat, secured with 2 L shaped fittings that went into the seat/lid and then went down into the toilet pan and was secured from underneath. This is for our disabled son, we have tried 4 different seat with not a lot of success, over time seats have become smaller. This old seat was 1960/1970' era , don't care about the colour orif it has a lid, it's the seat we need. Must have an inside measurment of at least 230mm across and 290mm long from back to front . We are desperate to find a new seat for our disabled son
