Health Promotion from Age Concern Hawke's Bay

Brought to you by The Women's Self Defence Network - Wahine Toa and partnered with Age Concern Hawke's Bay.

In this course you will learn to think confidently, speak strongly and use Self Defence skills when necessary. You will learn ways of dealing with unsafe situations including:
- How to deal with being followed
- Acquaintance and stranger attacks
- Sexual harassment
- Getting out of grabs and holds
- How to think their way out of threatening situations.
- Healthy/Unhealthy relationships

The course style is participatory, practical, fun and empowering. It includes discussions, games, physical sessions and role-plays.

Course being held at Age Concern Hawke's Bay- Hastings
(415 Heretaunga Street East, Hastings) on 23 November 2022 from 10am-2pm.

Registration essential as numbers are limited.
