Hi neighbours,

Will you be taking to the streets in your community to strike for better pay? The nurses union has "strongly rejected" a DHB pay and conditions offer and is seeking urgent mediation. That means strikes scheduled for July could still go ahead. Do you support the nurses' stance? What do you think of the latest pay offer? Let us know in the replies. Click here to read more.

Walking path & not one facility I could find to give a dog a drink of water.

Council. I would like to suggest that a dog drinking post or two be erected, with a metal bowl below and a self stopping tap to top it up, to give fresh water to thirsty dogs who accompany their owners on this pathway. Perhaps a water fountain at the top for the owner as well. Thank you.
