Conservation funds welcome your donation...

The Team from Momentum Waikato

Many people want to volunteer for conservation work, but more money is always needed to resource the labour offered.

Which is why there are three conservation-focused philanthropic investment funds at Momentum Waikato - donations grow ongoing income for local activities.

The Fund for Nature Hauraki-Coromandel support includes kiwi protection, trap building and training.

The Waikato Catchment Ecological Enhancement Fund supplies plants and pest control kit.

The Waikato Hauraki Conservation Fund is a ‘gap filler’ for things that volunteers need that are not usually funded.

Have you been past the old theatre lately?

Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

It was a spectacle that would have thrilled anyone’s inner three-year-old.

And, on Tuesday afternoon, some actual three and two-year-olds were lucky enough to be among those looking on as a pair of gigantic orange demolition excavators tore into the northern wall of Hamilton’s Founders Theatre in the manner of ravenous monsters.

Pulse Energy

Graham from Nawton

Back in January, Pulse had a big sales blitz, offering cheaper power. However, my accounts have been more than my previous supplier, Frank Energy. My last account, about $50 more. I have been having an ongoing debate with them. Who else, has been having this problem?
