When New Zealand’s Alert Level 4 came into effect in March 2020, schools around the country faced the challenge of a transitioning from onsite to online learning.

As students adjusted to the shift in their educational environment, many schools were ill-prepared to move to quickly to online learning. Schools such as St Peter’s in Cambridge were readily prepared for a seamless transfer between classroom and digital learning.

With each student ready to use online platforms such as Google Classroom and Hangouts, a streamlined shift was enabled as soon as the lockdown occurred.

Find out why more families are choosing St Peter’s at our Open Day on 12 March.

I always leave a large shallow bowl of water outside for my cat, as well as one inside. In this very hot weather the outside one is often completely empty in the morning; far more than my cat can drink overnight!
I can only imagine that there are other animals nearby who are very thirsty & have been led to my place in desperation for water.
Please people, put water outside for your animals, they can become very ill if they don't have access to clean water

Did some research this morning because I wondered if ants would take the eggs, seems that they do. So, following some advice I found I have put coffee grounds around the base of the plant (and a jam trap for the wasps). Result! This morning there was a regular runway of ants going up and down the plants, now there's hardly any, just have to wait and see if we get more caterpillars now.
