In this issue:

- More than meets the eye with Juliet Dickinson, Te Kowhai School.
- What next for our economy, by Dominick Stephens, Westpac’s Chief Economist.
- ANZAC commemorations around the district.
- Heritage stories by Graham McBride.

If you’ve got mates in RD5 or RD9 give them a nudge. Advertising in this publication will put your trades and services right under the noses of 1500 locals who are keen to shop and support local.

This issue is pretty special in the 40 year history of the publication. It’s the first time the magazine has been produced under lock down, it’s full colour, offset printed and now doubling in circulation to include our local friends and neighbours in RD5 and RD9.

Due to the impact of COVID, we’ve had to switch printers from Zebra Design, who have kindly supported us for many years. If you have the need of business cards, leaflets, banners or any printed materials please do support Zebra Design on Te Rapa Straight. Craig is such a good sort who will look after you with your design and print.

I hope you enjoy this edition.
