Baby Shawl mending needed
My grandmother knitted a beautiful shawl for my first baby nearly sixty years ago in 2ply wool. It was brought out recently for a forthcoming little one. When we looked at it there were a few breaks in the wool resulting in small holes. Does anyone know someone who has the proficiency to repair this delicate piece of knitting? It would break my heart if nothing could be done. Can you please PM me or phone on 843 4421. The baby is due in early December. I wonder if perhaps someone who is able to do or repair fine embroidery. I have a small amount of wool that could be used. Many thanks.
