The land wars of the 1860s saw the confiscation of half a million hectares in Waikato. People were driven from their homes. The second Māori king, Tāwhiao, and his followers became refugees in the King Country.

we are selling our Masport Super Grande 210, used intermittently as we realised we preferred charcoal over gas. $350 ono, compared to prices on Trademe, this is priced to go to a family who will have more use for it than us. Without gas tank but if you need one please add $50.
