Poll: Does this historical school bus rule need an overhaul?

A school bus rule from 1904 that takes $60 a week out of a Waikato family's pocket needs to change, politicians say.
The Ministry's 115-year-old rule states school bus rides are only free for primary school children who live further than 3.2km away.
The rules also allow school buses not to pick up children who live within 3.2km.

Neighbour drags bodies from car after fatal collision with train
A neighbour has described the horrifying scene he came across when a train and car collided in Hamilton on Wednesday morning.
The man and his partner, who didn’t want to be named, live four houses back from the Peachgrove Rd rail crossing where the incident occurred at around 4.30am.
