Chelsea will be giving an illustrated talk with a Q&A at the end. Her books - including her latest ‘Scrumptious’, along with ‘Homemade Happiness’, ‘Everyday Delicious’ and ‘At My Table’ - will be available to purchase and have signed by Chelsea.
Proceeds from this event will go towards the Hokitika Lion’s fundraising efforts for a huge new Christmas Tree to be located at the entrance to Hokitika.
Bring family and friends and be ready to be inspired.
A supper prepared by students from Westland High School, and using Chelsea’s recipes, will be available for a gold coin donation. There will also be a bar available, along with tea and coffee.
“With my recipes, anyone can cook delicious food for their family and friends. Even if you feel like you’re a complete egg in the kitchen, you’re gonna be fine. That’s why I write and test every single one of my recipes at home in my kitchen (and Mike is my chief taste tester – it’s all very scientific). A community commemoration service, involving community groups and the RSA will be held at Hokitika's Regent Theatre at 11.00 am Tuesday 25th April.
This will be following by a wreath laying ceremony at the Town Clock.
