Through a series of experiences Dr Harold Hillman has learnt to find his true, authentic self, which helped to shape his book, ‘The Impostor Syndrome’.

He describes the symptoms faced by many business leaders: an innate insecurity of being unable to meet the expectations of others, of not being good enough, a fear of failing.

His book is a must-read for anyone wanting to become a better leader.

Dr Harold Hillman will be talking about ‘The Imposter Syndrome’ at a lunch being held by Business Wairarapa at the Copthorne Hotel & Resort Solway Park on Thursday, 21 November as part of a series of events celebrating Wairarapa businesswomen.

Tickets are $55 and are available from wairarapachamber.co.nz...

Once built, Omāroro Reservoir will make the city’s water supply much more resilient in case of a disaster or operational failure. Right now, we’re installing the large pipes that will connect the reservoir to the existing network.

This next stage involves closing Wallace Street, Mt Cook, to traffic for a few months. A diversion will be in place via Wright St, and Adelaide Road will be the main route into the city to and from the south.

Interested? You’re welcome to attend the community drop-in session on Sunday 17 November 11am – 2pm at Massey University Executive Suite, Gate A, Wallace St. See you there.
