We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.

Need a new clothesline for Christmas?

Kevin from Martinborough

So, in November 2019 we bought the most expensive washing line we could find, one suitable for the highest of wind conditions.
We've never installed it and it's time it actually got used!
It's in perfect condition having been wrapped up in plastic and cardboard all these years.

This SwiftDry Coastline T Bar clothesline cost us $900, and they are still sold for the same price. Yours for $300.

These will need to be picked up from our home just outside Martinborough - far too heavy to ship!

Hosta potted ...variegated. new spring growth

Joan from Masterton District

Hostas prefer it damp but once established can be quite drought tolerant They do prefer the shade rather than harsh direct sun.
They come up reliably after dying down for the winter rest period and produce pink or white flower fronds in December.

Very easy to grow and do well in pots too.
