Arrived earth side 20 April 1968, left this world suddenly on 28 May 2023, aged 55 years, to join her mum Robyn and youngest brother Troy. Beloved & loving mother of Uruamo. Eldest child of Sam & Robyn Cook. Big sister to her 5 siblings. Loving Aunty Tarn & Nanny to her many nieces, nephews & whnau. Loved by her large extended whnau & dear friend to many. Tania will be lying in state at Raukawa Marae, Mill Rd, taki from Wednesday, May 31st, followed by her service on Thursday, June 1st, 11.00am, at Raukawa Marae.

Passed away on 25th May 2023, aged 82. Farewell to our beloved Bruce. Our Daredevil Dad and speedway star, poppa, husband, brother, uncle & son to Mona & George (both dec), Brooke & Ross, Gina & Dave, Ava & Jess, Dene (dec), Steph & Brent, Justine & Noel, and all his nieces, nephews and extended family. FRANCIS, James Graeme

After a short illness, James passed away peacefully at Colwyn House, Hastings, on Friday 26th May 2023. Beloved and cherished husband of Alison for 49 and a half years. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Kim and Jeremy, Simon and Alison, Tessa and Gavin. Treasured Poppa of Oliver, Willa and Leah. Loved father and father-in-law of Todd and Nicola, and grandfather of Spike and Lewis. Cherished brother of Robert, and the late Diane, Jillian and Adrienne. Loved and respected by his extended family and many friends. A special thanks to the amazing staff at Colwyn House for all of the love and care given to James and the family. A service to celebrate the life of James will be held at Lindisfarne College Chapel, on Friday, 2nd June 2023 at 1.30pm. Sadly, passed away 25 May 2023. Dearly loved wife of Rick. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Kerry and Kura, Craig and Vicki, Christian and Leanne, Elizabeth, Cameron and Jodie. On Saturday, May 27, 2023, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital; aged 80 years. Dearly loved husband of Shona, much loved father and father-in-law of Barry and Deanne, Craig (deceased) and Jackie, Brendon and Anne, Jonathan and Nicola, loved grandad of Alex and Ben; Jacob and Joey; Liam, Matthew and Sophie; Brenna and Raef. HARNETT, John Michael

Died peacefully at the Marlborough Hospice on May 27, 2023, aged 87 years. Above all, John cherished his family, especially his wife Sue. He was so proud of Michelle, Bernie, Geoff and Patrick and their life companions, Tim (Darlington), Trish, and Sharon, not forgetting Michaela and Wendy. John had much pleasure interacting with his six grandchildren and their partners. He loved them all. John has been cremated according to his wishes. Peacefully at Taranaki Base Hospital on Saturday 27 May 2023, aged 90. Devoted husband of the late Merle for 67 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Peter, Jennifer, Graham & Carol, Robyn & Kermie and, Lynne & Leon. Cherished Grandad and great-grandad of his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
